Is it bad to use freshwater feeders?

I dont think freshwater disease is an issue, its the fatty acids that are lacking in FW fish that give SW little if any nutrional value. You could convert mollies to SW to use as feeders and after a second generation was born in SW they would suffice as feeders.

Is my Blue Tang just Shy?

Mine was skiddish for a month or so, and then for another year he would hide when anyone other than me walked into the room. Now he hangs out with no fear of anything. Give him time, once hes comfortable he wont hide anymore.

    BLUE STARFISH?

The Chocolate Chip will eat anything it parks over including soft corals. I've heard that the General will do the same, but mine doesnt touch corals.

    BLUE STARFISH?

General Starfish are easy to keep, so are Chocolate chip if you dont have any corals.

    Hungry Anemone?

I have several small short spined urchins that hitchiked in my LR. I noticed the other day that one was missing and later spotted spines laying all around my long tentacled anemone. Will an anemone eat an urchin? If so will he be ok?

    How to maintain tank cleanliness

If your tank is farily new then chances are you have diatoms which are neither good nor bad, just a part of the aging process. They will dissapate on their own in time. IME plastic plants will require maintenance to make look real.

    What Is This Gunk?

No doubt, Cyano. Increased flow, reduced feeding, and syphon it off every chance you get. If you have it floating on the surface then you need a power head situated so that it breaks the water surface.

    Boiling Overflows, ALOT of Bubbles

In my sump I have a sponge in the stage just before the return, the sponge takes care of my bubbles. This might fix both of your problems.

    fishmate for puffer?

Re: puffer feeding I would be very careful about overfeeding the puffer, they will eat themselves to death and overfeeding could cause some serious water quality issues. My porcy is about 10 inches and never bothers other fish, but produces a great deal of waste.

Cleaner for Porcupine and Undulated Trigger

About the only things I could have with my trigger and puffer was a starfish and urchins. The trigger took out the hermits and the puffer loves escargot. I think its luck of the draw with puffers and triggers as to what the will and will not eat.

    Lion Fish toxins??????!!!!!!!!!?????

Im not so sure that they release anything after dying. I had a small lion die a few months ago in a 20 gal and was probably dead for about 12 hours before I found him. I had no issues with the other fish that were in the tank.

    Best Way To Lower Nitrates??

yes, after the course of events is complete it becomes nitrate. IMO 15ppm is nothing to panic about, just make sure it doesnt keep going up. If you have CC then you might need to do an aggressive gravel vac with the next water change. After 3 years of trying to lower my nitrates, i found...

    Phyco Blue Tang, Reply Pease

Is he flippy his tail at another critter? He might be trying to establish territory with someone else. My Tang flips his tail at crabs and starfish. It sort of looks like hes swimming without moving.

    Any luck with Urchins.

I have several and my fish leave them alone. Apparently they can strip the coraline off of your LR, but I dont have that problem.
