    I understand the issue but I am right Oscars are not pikes. They don't spend all day waiting for a fish to swim by. That's what I ment I'm sorry for not elaborating more on what I said.

    I never said Oscars don't eat fish I just said they are not fish hunters , which they are not. They are as you said, opportunistic feeders.
