Congrats...you have pods (that is a good thing)

    Stocking my son's 20 gallon.

I agree...skip the cuc and star. Look at a royal gramma for that size...great movement and color.

    red slime algae.

It certainly looks like cynobacteria...caused by excess nutrients in the water. Just do a simple search for cyno and you will come up with loads of solutions...good luck.

    Copperband Butterfly and Flame Scallop?

I agree...neither is a great option due to survival history. The flame, in general, does not do well in any tank and the copperband needs a larger one for a greater chance. Sorry

    Aggressive tang?

Sounds like normal tang behavior to me. Just keep and eye out for visable injuries on your angel. Things should settle down after a few days.

Feeding Portions - Need Advice Please

Keep in mind that quality is more important then quantity. Using high quality foods with some dietary suppliments like Selcon or Zoe will allow the fish to get all the nutrients they require in less food. Less food = less waste. What type of food are your currently feeding?

Best way to keep the ammonia production in the DT

I would recommend a high-quality flake for the time being. Try a little Prime Reef by Ocean Nutrition. IMHO, less chance of adding PO4 or NO3 to the water. Less is more.

    watchman goby dissapearance

I agree...it is likely hiding within the rockwork or has tunneled in the substrate. Hopefully it has found your pistol shrimp.

    Clam losing colour?

Have you tried vewing your clam from the top down? I have seen some that appear dull and brown from the side but nice and bright from the top. Also, as mentioned, water parameters are needed to help offer good advice. How old and what temp is your MH lamp?

    Lighting for Anemone

What size BioCube? In general...NO Flour. lighting will not support anemones. If the lighting is CF then it may be enough to support something like a BTA depending on the size of the tank.
