    Clowns attacking watchman goby

If your goby doesn't figure it out soon, the clowns will drag him right into the anemone. My tomato clown will sometimes feed the anemone if I drop the chunk of fish in the right place. Look it up on youtube and you'll see how the can fling the fish right into it. (I hope this doesn't happen...

LPS coral ident needed - Lobophyllia?

I just picked this coral up, the guy at the shop told me what it was but I forgot. I'm guessing it is a Lobophyllia based on comparing it to other pictures on the net. Can someone confirm or suggest something different?

    any idea what this is

My guess would be a stomatella snail (I'm no expert). I bought a frag off someone and a stomatella snail was attached to it. I was worried at first until I did some research on it.

    Tropical fish flakes

I will try to elaborate on the "no" . I'm no expert but I do know that the reason for the different types of flakes is the ingredients. Different types of fish require different amounts of plant matter and othre nutrients. Simply put, some foods are not designed for certain fish and would most...

    Broadleaf algae

Okay so my tank is running well and I've letting this leaf algae grow. It looks great in the tank but it is bothering me that I don't know what it is of if I should get rid of it. Can anyone offer some suggestions as to what it is? Should I keep it? Is there anything in the the clean up crew...

Clean up crew and load on tank

Thanks I'll check my bulbs again to make sure (I just read the box). The guy at the LPS did ask me what I planned to have in the tank when I bought the light. It also doesn't hurt to add my light anyway.

Yes it is a 2 bulb fixture. May I ask why you suggest to return the BTA?

Clean up crew and load on tank

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not keen on the emerald crabs as I've ready mixed experiences with them eating other things. Ideally I have my I set on a starfish of some sort so maybe I should consider adding more substrate? Ideally I want to add more more to the crew but only if nessecarry...

Clean up crew and load on tank

Hey there (first post). I have a 30G reef tank with a blenny and recently added a matched tomato clown and bubble tip anemone (tank 2+ months old). I have 5 small snails and I do want to add more for algae control. So here is the question. How much load does the CUC put on the tank? I was...
