    Orange Ocellaris chasing Black Ocellaris

I found that my bully clown calmed down. Occasionally chases some. But I got a free Niger Triggerfish yesterday from my LFS. With the Niger, they clown bully has stopped 100%. Nigers are the most peaceful of triggerfish. They keep yo themselves and spend alot of time swimming the length of the tank.

    Angry clownfish???

It doesn't matter what movement. It's a display of aggression because he has two different species of clown in a tank that is clearly not big enough and not enough anemones to host in.

    Angry clownfish???

You are not suppose to mix different types of clowns. Once you have one kind of clown that is the type you must stay with. You can only keep them in pairs. Even numbers. Orange Ocellaris chasing Black Ocellaris

Well I isolated him in the tank with a net for five hours and then released him. It calmed him down. And each pair pretty much kept to their own territories. Except at night they all sleep together.

    Orange Ocellaris chasing Black Ocellaris

I have been told hosting in anything other than anemone is bad for the fish and the coral.

    Orange Ocellaris chasing Black Ocellaris

My mistake. It about 49" x 19". But the chasing hasn't been relentless. It occasional maybe for a duration of a min. And everyone gets to eat. They have their own place to sleep. No signs of stress like heavy breathing, swimming at the top or bottom, lying down. None of that. I have had them...
