Went with the truvu 240 gallon reef. It's got two 1.5 drains but I accidentally set one of the drains as an emergency drain.

Anyone?
I'm leaning towards a 240 or 300 truvu acylic aquarium with a diy stand. Anyone have any experience with truvu tanks?

Can someone recommend a good 300 gallon reef ready tank. I would need it delivered. I was considering the Marineland 300 but I would rather have an 8 foot tank. I'm looking for a good reliable website. I have read bad reviews about glasscages.

Finally got both pumps tuned in. I had it running for 2 days to be sure and everything looked good. I hooked up my ATO and I couldn't be any happier with the setup. Until, today when I hooked up both systems to my controller. I shut off both pumps to connect them to the controller. When I...
No luck yet fine tuning the pumps. My DT sump water lvl doesn't stay consistent and I will eventually run one of my pumps with no water.

Here's a drawing of what I'm thinking of doing. With Ball Valves controlling the flow.

I have a Neptune Controller I want both systems to run on. The reason I don't want to have both drains going into one sump is incase of a power failure. The sump might over flow. One sump is slightly higher than the other so a syphon might work but I'm thinking running the two pumps would be...
I've been searching online and have read the only way to achieve what I'm trying to do is by drilling both sumps. Has anyone done this without drilling and adding bulkheads to the 2 sumps?
Both of my return pumps are the same brand and GPH.

This is my DT sump. The plan is to cut the return on the right attach an elbow to it so the water can flow into my Frag Tank Sump.

I'm trying to avoid cutting the drain from my frag tank. I was thinking of running my mag 9 from my DT sump to move the water into my Frag Tank sump. The water will flow through all the chambers and I'll have another mag 9 that will return the water through all 3 returns in the last chamber...
I finally took the time to move my DT next to my Frag tank. I am trying to connect the 2 together to make it one system. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah I've had it on max for 2 days now. I guess I'll give it a couple more days to see if it adjusts.

I finally bought a skimmer and I went with the curve 5. I have had it running for 2 days with no luck. It just overflows. I have it sitting at about 8 inches of water. No matter how much I keep adjusting it I can't get it to stop over filling. Has anyone had this same problem?
