Help with Canister Filter
I have a 29 gal tank I;m setting up for a reef environment. I have a canister filter and just bought a protein skimmer that works in a sump. Can I run one hose (the intake) from my main tank and run the other hose (the outflow) into the sump? I want to set my sump higher than the tank so all...- water978

Protein skimmer for a 29 gal SW setup
I have a 29 gal SW tank. Live rock, live sand, a Cascade 500 canister filter, 2 Powersweep pumps, 7 crabs, 5 snails, and 2 damsels. I want to add some coral and fish but need to upgrade my lighting (I have just a two florescent bulb hood). I'm on disability so money is extremely limited...- water978
