You can use any pack.. They light at 6v and can go to 18v obviously being brighter with higher volts ( i use 18v) Not sure about other types of lights.. I use these and never seen these blow or fail..

Quarantine is having a different tank thats cycled on hand in case of a ill fish(s). You Can take a fish out thats sick and rehome it temperarily in the quaratine tank wit meds til it becomes healthy enough to put back into main tank

Depending on the breed they can be darker when a juvenile and than fade to a lighter color like mine did when they get older and would still be classified as blood red.

I like the adjustable pump that has air control knobs so you can adjust the pressure of air.. Air pad is the make of the one that i use it gives you 2 outlets so you can hook up 2 seperate lines and control them both by turning the knobs

One side of tubing gets put into pump the other side goes to air stone place airstone where you want in tank and plug in outlet. Very simple. Maybe test first before you do all that work of setting it up, tubing looks a little old make sure no leaks! Or buy new tubing first.

Ur pleco wont die because of a fin being nipped..they like to come out at night and look for food, so thats probably why u dont see it happening with the lights on.. U gotta realize that plecos are easy targets especially for agressive fish because most of the time there either stuck on the side...

29g is 30 inches long i believe but maybe to small for afric/cichlids.. The prob where most people go wrong is they by a few put them in tank, a couple days layer buy more and put them in etc. I found if you get all your fish at one time and put them in your tank within a few mintues its too...

Oh please 75g is plenty hes not putting 20 africans in there.. Decor the tank with good hiding spots and you wont have a problem
