I am looking for ideas when I upgrade my lighting. Right now there's a pair of 24 inch fixtures with a t-8 18" bulb in each. Its a 12'' x 48'' top 60 gallon. Is there any reason to upgrade to t-5's if I don't plan on corals? Do I need to consider price, is it cheaper to replace 2 48's or 4...
temp stays at 78. I had the foxface for a month. I tried to add another fish acouple times but they died within a day. I didnt see any odd markings on them.
My foxface died, ammonia is showing 0ppm. The only fish left in tank is a black molly, there are some shrimp and a large snail who are fine. Any ideas???
I just ordered 2- 9 LED blue strips to give a nite view to my 60 gallon tank. 6.25 each. I have a box full of dc power supplies, add a 2 dollar switch, easy as pie.:thumb:
Well the next morning he was doing ok, around 10 am he was dead. The shrimp didn't get him tho. I have been having fits adding fish to both tanks. This one has had perfect parameters. Is there a disease that kills fish in 24 hours but doesn't hurt whats in the tank already?
I put a minnow in there to distract him, which he is currently eating. He tried to grab it and got it once it started floundering.
This is in my 30 gallon tank.
I can keep inverts fine but am having fits with fish. It is frustrating when all parameters show perfect. And hackteck, that freaking avatar is killer!
Thats what I did to post, This layout is the same as dozens of other forums I belong too. I didnt know if there was a minimum amount to post in some areas.
Thanks!
Wow, It was at zero at one time, guess I am lucky the foxface is still alive. I have well water, what do you recommend (if anything) adding to it? Aqua safe? when I do Partial water change?
And thanks for the Quick reply!
So I'll post it here (hopefully)
