Decoration ideas for middle/top of tank.

A lot of plants that are made for aquariums are silk and plastic, so I am assuming that ordinary ones are the same since they are the same. I have had mine for a while and everything has worked out well so far

Decoration ideas for middle/top of tank.

You could get a piece of tall driftwood or an artificial wood stump decoration and go to a craft store like Hobby Lobby or Michael's and buy some of their silk plants and create your own centerpiece from the wood and plants... a great do it yourself project :) It's what I did in my tank and it...

    Cory Catfish Issues...

I have small gravel and artificial silk plants. The tank isn't extremely planted, probably about 1/5 of the bottom surface area, enough for hiding spots and such.

    Cory Catfish Issues...

Patola: Thanks for the suggestion, I think I have decided to give the corys to the friend. As for the tank size, right now the goldfish are small so I think for a few months they will be ok till I upgrade :)

    Cory Catfish Issues...

Peppered corys can be in unheated aquariums... Many people keep them in unheated. Before I added the goldfish, they were extremely active and the temperature had no effect on them. So I am not really sure that temperature has anything to do with my problem.

The Corys were extremely...

    Fin nipping

I have a beautiful 2 1/2 inch (not including tail) calico oranda that I have had for about a week. Today I introduced a small lionhead (about 1 inch) into the tank. I have a 14 gal biocube. I plan on upgrading the size for my growing fancies in a year when I don't have dorm restrictions on...

Cories can't seem to find their food

I know they won't starve because I am giving them food, I was just wondering if there was any reason they are letting the food sit there for days without eating it.

Cories can't seem to find their food

I recently set up and cycled my new 14 gallon biocube. I added 3 peppered cories a few days ago and they seem to be enjoying the tank. They swim together, run up and down the walls, lounge on the plants... Adorable! I am planning on stocking it with other fish as well in a few days. Anyways, I...
