i like to buy plants in LA/OC area willing to pick up.

I have no plants in my tanks so its time to put some in. i have some rock pebbles would that work with live plants or do i have to get "special" gravel that can be suited for live plants or will it work with any type of gravel??

i have 40 gallon tank ready to be set up but dont know if i should go with freshwater or saltwater. I don't know if the tank is too small to house saltwater fish. Just curious what would u do/put in a 40 gallon. so far i have these items -canister filter -volcano led light air pump -sand gravel...

i have a 80g tank with a peacock bass by itself, the tank might be too small but ill look for a bigger set up when the time is right. its been 5 months now and i think its time to add some more fishes but idk what can do well with this cichild.
