Got my sand changed out to live sand and got 50 lbs of base rock in as thats all my lfs had in stock! Salted it up and going to add another 80 lbs of rock saturday but untill then its just settling

Correct me if im wrong but you could do a pair or different clowns as long as they are from the same family i believe! Say a snowflake and a black and white clown are both technically ocellaris clowns!

Lol thanks i already have heaters because its running fresh already! I would do a sump but im going to keep it simple and add stuff as i go! Ill add a sump with overflows as my bio load gets larger! I just want to get it started for now!

That's what I'm wondering see they are in a 125 and there was alot of cichlids in there but i removed everything but them and a pleco over the past weekend! Anyway I've seen aggressive cichlids do this before as a dominance thing but they have been like this for hours with short little breaks...

I just did a huge water change on my 125 and filled it all the way to the brim which i normally don't do! I heard something popping a few times later but don't know if it was one of my fish our what could the piping noises come from the tank being over filled?

Almost every recommendation says triggers almost all of them can go in 70 gallon tanks fine! While i know bigger is better and triggers are active and aggressive i think the larger 4 ft tanks would be fine! I agree 6 would be better but i don't feel as though its required!

True plus it might not be good with a trigger either so that something I need to think about changing!

Agreed i've already read that the angler is a no go with a puffer or trigger so I'm taking off of my stock list! I'm gonna be reading and picking brains like crazy since its probably going to be 3 months before I'm actually able to stock anyway!
