I use both Kent Reef which gives great cal, mag, n ph readings plus a 200 gallon box is $44 on dr. F&S and Coralife from time to time, Amazon runs specials on that mix 3x a yr for 150 gallon bucket for $30.99 so I buy 3 when they pop up. To each his own but, my reef has flourished under these...

I've had my Flame Fin Tang for roughly 2yrs and gotta tell you they are sweet. Vibrant white tail awesome orange fins and stay small. Mine is 5". Eats like a champ, I'll send you pic when lights go on later.

Hopefully Tannehill has it this yr.

I've had mine for a year. It was roughy 3" now bout 6" tall. So it has grown fairly quick. Interesting note; once i cut a couple frags of the top for a buddy is when it really flourished. Like all softies they really go at full throttle once you start cutting them, atleast thats been exp.

I've had my coon for over a year now. They are one of the easier butterflys to keep. Mine loves flake and nori. He mimics my naso, funny stuff. I hand feed him minced pieces of shrimp and he goes nuts.

This was my mod with simple pvc and fluval pre filters. Worked great. I now use a reef octopus hob acrylic skimmer much happier!

My 10 month old 20.......

My raccoon finally started eating when i minced up scallop and fresh shrimp. Try it u can almost promise you he will eat. All my butterflys were stubborn up till the fresh scallops enter the water, make sure to mince then really good. Now my butterfly eats pellet and prime reef flakes as well...

Do this instead of using that goofy hose/sponge combo!

Look at my mod. Some pvc pipe and a fluval pre filter sponge. Looks better and works. I have since switched to the reef octopus hob love that skimmer...

I've had my blue linkia for 10 months now and it has grown over 2 inches and is plump. My 30 gallon reef was 11 months running when I added that beauty. I did do a 6 hour 3 second drip acclimation, VERY important!

I use Seachem reef crystals, 160 mix bucket shipped free for $52 on Amazon. I have amazing coral growth n' color since switching from reef crystals to.

I use the aqua euro aebh100 and it works great. Got it on amazon for $149. Its the same thing as the reef octopus hob just different pump. Very quite and easy to maintain.

Cant go wrong with a bi-color angel. Mine is all over n in n out of the rock. Sleep in his favorite little in the rock. He goes in backwards awesome site.

Well said and good points. My father has a 300 gallon reef for over 12 years and his oldest fish being a true perula at 9 years old and fat hes been feed flakes and nls pellets exclusivly.....

Aquaclear; I like the ease of maintaining and cleaning them. You cab get them on Amazon for the best price my 110's which filter 500 gallons an hour were $51 when I bought them compared to say Petsmart which is like $70.
