Hi all... I'm about 6 weeks out from my upgrade to a 125g tank and I'm thinking about using a Herbie system instead of the standard durso pipes that came with the tank to reduce the noise. Now, it's been about 7yrs since I last setup a new tank and I don't have any experience with this "herbie"...

Hey Eric- Im sure people would help you, but I would say that more information is needed to do so.....like What do you mean by coral rock? Do you mean live rock? Is there any fish in the system? Type, size and how many fish. What type of lighting does he have? How old are his bulbs? What type...

I'm not sure what the point of this post was? This is not a good way at all to do this. A clown will choose a host if it wants to do so, not because it's forced...I had a clown for yrs that was perfectly happy without a host.....even when it had several options. Happy to hear your clownfish...

@ccxgt Not sure actually. Believe it or not, I have yet to see a molt. You would think I would in the last 8 yrs! It looks clear to me....but I'm not sure if shrimp go clear like that when they die. Don't know why they would. I should have grabbed it but I was running out the door to work...

Just got her acclimated and In the tank last night and she looks great! I think she's a really sharp looking fish. She really loves riding the power heads current and she really doesn't stop swimming! Is that normal for clowns? I had one years ago and I don't recall it being that active. :)...

How much water movement do you need? Why not grab an ecotech mp10 or mp40? I have 2-10's and 1-40 and I just don't run them over 50%. I went a bit overkill on the flow to be sure I don't have to run them at high power. The 40 never really goes about 30% unless I'm right up on them, I don't hear...
