I have had my fish in a qt since september 25 because I thought they had ICK. I treated them with instant ocean lifeguard and them seem better. My dt has the inverts and rock from the same tank my fish were in. Is it safe to put my fish in my dt now? Or should I wait a little longer?

I finally quarantined my fish but they dont look good. They are just at the bottom of the tank.

Will moving the inverts and live rock into my new dt infected with ick? I know that only fish can get ick, but I was told that inverts are carriers of it. Should I clean the live rock before putting it in the new dt?

How come the spots are only visible at nighttime under the light but daytime there is nothing?

What should I do? I've been putting it off but I don't want my damsel to die yet don't want to misdiagnose it.

Could I just use the 20 gallon when I put them back to non quarantine tank? Right now I am using just a crappy aqua tech filter and air pump from walmart. I have the air stone thing too. As far as sand, we got sand from the beach by my house ( I live in Hawaii) and the live rock also from beach.
