    What to do with dead fish?

    take it to the pet store. Scoop out a live one and throw the dead one in. If they catch onto you just tell them that it looks as if its a bit more of their problem and a lot less of yours.

    I just attempted the same thing and found no HO fixtures at HD. I ended up buying more t8 but I wish i had just ordered the ho fixture instead. If its 20$ it too good to be true.

    green algae really bad?

    Green hair is not the end. I have some in my 55 FOWLR and I dont do anything about it until i feel i need to. A wire brush will solve that issue.
