Looking for the small and itty bitty varieties of anubias. Ship to Round Rock, TX

Picked up this betta today from a lady on craigslist. It has a gigantic growth like it swallowed a marble. It's not pine coning, it's swimming around like nothing's wrong, just wondering if anyone might have seen this before. Thanks

What kind of gar is it? Looks like a "silver gar" which don't get big at all.

The tank looks great! You should take a look at pictus cats. They are easy to find, don't get very big, they're nice looking and super active. I don't know how they'd fair with JD's but they might work.

I would also keep an eye on that gourami. They can be aggressive.

Ok thanks! I think someone else told me about that before... lol... I hope they clear up, but I doubt it. I've got them in even my oldest tanks. I wish I could add some otto's, but unfortunately I think my bichirs would probably turn them into snacks before they could do much good.

About 4 months and I've had this issue since week 2 or so. You can see where the farlowella cleaned up some of the leaves of this anubias, but the bottom leaf is covered... The swords are even worse sometimes, and the more delicate plants get gnawed a little thin sometimes.

So, my plants are doing fine, but they are covered in some sort of brown algae. My farlowella keeps the algae beat back, but I would really like to have those nice clean plants all shiny and algae free... any suggestions?

I rearranged everyone due to my Oscars deciding to be hateful to some of the more peaceful residence and my shovelnose catfish unexpectedly doubling in size in 2 weeks. So what do you all think?

My goldfish are just fine with their plants, but I keep them potted and I use plants that are larger and tougher. I imagine they would happily eat the species you propose.

I've seen something similar, but it's usually only around the base of my bulbed plants. It usually clears up in a few days though.

So... I love my Farlowella. I added him yesterday and he immediately went to work eating all the algae off my swords and anubias. This is the best algae eater I've ever had.

I haven't had any problems. I started using sand with my goldfish and love it. The fish seem to like it too. I just use air tubing to get the fish poo and excess food siphoned out. The only thing I worry about is gas bubbles, but just keep it shallow, stir it or get fish that will, and keep it...

Does anyone know where to find 2-4" fry of red fin or grass pickerel, a medium pike (max adult size 8-12") or a medium gar (max adult size 8-12")?
