its the morton salt non iodide kinda... i hatch my brine shrimps from this salt and they are alive and swiming for 3 days but once put in the 10 gal salt water with cloudy water it doesnt live more then 3 days befor dying off... no idea why... salt is at 1.025 ph is at 7.8-8 everything looks...

so i just added clean declorine water with the right amount of table salt for my brine shrimp tank and it has been sitting for over 24 hours at 80F now and the water is still cloudy... why is that? and how can i get it to clear up...

is there a salinity test that i can keep submerg in the tank for every and if the salt raise or falls it will tell me? i hate to stick my hand in the water and keep testing it with a hydrometer every week or 2 for the salt water... so is there any way i can find one that sits in the water...

i am using liquid test and there is ammonia and nitrite in the tank ... it's listing above :facepalm: but is a small amount nothing to big but i'm not sure if my new borns can live in that if i do breed my betta's in it...

well i have setup a new tank for breeding only... its a 15 gal tank... new water, clean tank, everything is setup as new with no fish to begin with.... the ammonia is tested and is at 0.25 - 0.5 the nitrite is tested and is at 0.1 the ph is tested and is at 7.8 is there going to be a problem...

put them in a different tank and add aquarium salt as needed for the tank gal of your tank you moved the fish to and turn the temp. up to around 82-86 F and hope for the best... medication will not work on these fish cause of there sensitivity's to the medication
