Anyone have input on this? Was reading up on it. How does it change the color of a fish? Is it natural?

So the guys at the DPW(Department of Public Works) were given a 10 gallon tank. I scaped it and set it up. It's currently cycling. Fish less using ammonia (my first time) always done a fish in but with a small tank I wanna be safe. It has a AC20 on it, Petco heater and a ZooMed 50/50 T8 18"...

I ran outta space (no surprise lol) anyway.... Been using photo bucket, for some reason this morning it's not showing the pictures when I copy image code, I see it for a second when my new post loads then it disappears. Other members can't see it either. Any ideas? As you know I LOVE pictures...

I CAN'T be the ONLY one... BUT.... How come the filter can be silent and all good. You do a water change and have to power everything down BUT when you power it back up its loud!!!! What's the deal... Sorry, back pain and late night rant.

I was given the opportunity to try out a AquaTop 13 watt fully submersible UV sterilizer with built in pump. It's for up to 100 gallons. I figured for free why not. I have to give it back in 2 weeks with a review for my buddy's fish shop. Here's the pics. Top is with the UV, I tried to hide it...

Well... I think it's cool lol. It shows the shadow effect I get from my ML DB LED fixture. I set it back further so it's not dead center to create a shadow effect. What do you think? :)

If I took bio max, rings whatever for say my African tank and seeded the new Fluval C4 with those rings and everything remained the same. Could those media rings effect pH? I ask because a PetSmart employee said to me that yes, it will cause my pH to rise to 8.0-8.2 or whatever pH my African...

Added more sand, about 5lbs. You can see the little home this guy/girl has made. Added more sand to go around the rocks so they didn't look so placed. Someone is hard at work Again added more sand around the rocks And... Here's the busy body!! Thanks for looking!!
