Ive owned my red star for about 1year up until this week he hasnt moved from the same spot in the sand he only moves one leg slowly.

I Have had my red starfish for about 1year he was always moving around my tank but the last couple days he havnt moved from the same spot on the sand he sometimes only moves 1 leg. Everything was good untill this week. plz any advise would be great. Thanks

You shouldnt cycle your tank with fish. Let it cycle a month with live rock and live sand

I have a fluval external filter but dont how often it needs cleanning for my reef aquarium. My filter is cleanned once a month in my freshwater tank but not shore about reef tanks. Ive looked on the internet but cant find my answer anywhere.
