Ok I have a 55 g reef with some sps and lps corals over that tank I have my coral life aqua light with two 150 w mh and two 96 pc actinic and led moon lights that light is suspended from the ceiling were I'm going to put the 75 the 75 has a dual 175 w mh with two t-5 actinic lights retro kit...

Do those of you who have metal halides run your actinics while the halides are on or do you run them like I do befor and after the metal halides...

My mag levels are 930 need to raise it but never encountered this befor and ideas its a medium stocked 55 gallon sps tank...

Has any one had success with this breed , I inherited one free from my lfs and from what I read do not live long in captivity... So far he will eat little pieces of fresh salmon but not much at all . I have him in a qt tank by him self for know to try and get him to eat properly as I know there...

Do these types need qt befor introduction to display tank. ? I normally qt everything but from what I read no one qts this breed ....

Looking at up grading my lighting don't want to have a open top looking for mods for the oem canapy right know ihave the oem 64 w pcs I want to ither upgrade those to 3 40w pc for 120w or a good led conversion any help would be appreciated

Any one have proublems with it leaching phosphates? It's going to be going in a new 75 I'm setting up I've herd to bake it give it a chemical bath lol I'm at a lost with it...how do u guys cure the rock to rid it of the phosphates?....
