yes that should be plenty of live rock not sure about the sand thing. all i run for filtration is a sea clone100 protein skimmer and water change for my 55. hope i helped you a little let me know its you have any more ?s

i have a deep sand bed in my tank and i know if i disturb to much of it then it can release toxins that were trapped in the sand bed. not sure if that its the same with the crushed Coral. but if you are doing it during a water change it should be fine but not sure. just wanted to let you know...

if you put garlic in your fish food it will help their immune system and get them through the ich out break. make sure it is a garlic powder.
