Just got an aquaticlife skimmer. Been running for about 10 hours. Is the waste water still supposed to be clear? When will it start collecting the brown stuff?

I ordered a CS50 off amazon but I cant use it because my plumbing isn't set up. I've heard the drain hose for CPR boxes doesn't fit on cs50. I don't know yet. Just in case, could someone recommend a drain hose. Thanks.

Still got brown diatoms. Right now it's only one arrow crab and one percula clownish correct me if I'm wrong. 26 pounds of rock. 21 pounds bought dry. Once I get my fishneedit fixture and suplllements I'm gonna just do LPS and polyps I'm new to reefs so i don't wanna make this too challenging.

Is this normal brown algae that will pass or is it corraline that will start changing color? it's the rock and sand on the bottom not the rocks on top.
