I know they can be aggressive but haven't seen him act aggressively towards other inhabitants. The sailfin tang was at least 3x his size aswell. Thought I might have a mantis shrimp a while ago(clicking sound coming from tank), but set traps for many nights and never caught anything.

No signs of stress at all. Parameters are fine. Literally no sign of him anywhere. It's a peninsula tank so there's 3 viewable sides, so he should be easy to find. No carcass No spine Nothing Is that odd?

It's funny seeing the prices on sites like live aquaria or at the lfs. I was at my wholesalers place last week and got a peek at a list of what he pays to the people that get the specimens from the ocean , 90% were between 50 cents to 1.50 per fish.

Clown tangs are awesome, a lot cheaper than a sohal and lots of personality, they even look kind of similar.

Had an ice storm in December , no power for 3 days, combined with a generator failure. To this day the house where the tank was still loses power 2-3 times a week for a couple mins. Didn't want to continue investing $$$ in the tank with such an unreliable power grid. So I shut the tank down...
