Built a wet dry sump. It works great. Problem is at least once a week it over flows my tank. I know I could have less water in the return tub but the trickle sound drives me crazy. Any ideas on why I am losing siphon in my over flo? or what I could do to stop this from happening?

I have a Fire eel in a mbuna 120 gal tank. I am not sure if the fire eel is eating. I have blood worms but if Im not sneaky dropping them in they get eaten before they hit the bottom. Any ideas of things my cichlids wont eat that my eel will?

They are tough to see by design. They were painted black to mix with the sand and the background.

sorry cant identify I cant even seen the shape so I cant even tell you if is mbuna or a hap. If I had to guess it kinda looks like an electric blue hap.

The thing about filtration is that there is no such thing as overkill. Your 306 would be enough the 406 would be better. If you are really want to get great filtration and save a little build yourself a sump. This site has some great DIY links or look on youtube.

From what I saw you have red zebras (solid orange) Jeweled (redish with dot) solid blues look like like cobalts. The blue striped look like, kenyi maybe socolifi, yellow with black on fins yellow labs, horizontal striped ones are golden cichlids

I believe you have Kenyi the red zebras Ive seen and have are solid orange. My males have developed silver/blue accents but no vertical stripes.

Its already a pain! I didnt glue the pipes together for that reason though
