Is my anemone going to make it?

The poor guy was a purple long tentacle anemone. We took him back and refund no problem. No receipt but fortunately we've spent major $$$$ at the store this was the first issue so no problem with the return Only thing Ph was 7.7 I wonder if that killed him.

Updated picture. So far we like the lights. Looked a whole lot different when we put the new lights on. We have some Frogspawn frags, star polyp frag, and some we don't know what they are and a bubble coral. Oh and I was looking at the fresh water chart for the ph so it is actually still normal...

Any idea what this is? Not sure if it was attached to a rock and fell off when we moved them around...or a dead snail...something else...kinda ugly should we take it out or let the creatures in the tank decide?

    New 55gal. HELP!

We just added a salt mix to a new 55 gallon. Purchased a bag of salt and I'd say it was 20+ cups. Didn't take a standard gravity reading for about three days... the water was very cloudy for a couple days so we didn't do any readings. Also depending on how you put the water in the tank there...

Beginers with 55g need some tips

Here is a link to the light we've been looking at. We like the LED combo because heard from lfs that even the new LED models doesn't provide the full spectrum of color that is best for an aquarium. Thought this would be a good balance Any experience with this model or something similar? Will...

Beginers with 55g need some tips

Hey thanks for the tips so far. I hope we're off to a good start but I know we have a LONG ways to go. We do have coraline in the tank from live rock. Appears to be several different species. We do have a test kit but can not test Calcium so it sounds like we should take it easy on that...
