My paired blood parrot cichlids have only laid eggs once and this is my first time watching them do their mating dance. How soon until they'll lay eggs?

I wish I had a bigger tank. I took her to save her from the wrong temp, but I know she's a bit big for this tank. :/ it's...

It was my first time with angelfish :( they're hard to keep! And it was even harder cuz a catfish I used to have kept killing everything I put in the tank even though they were bigger than it's mouth. :(

I've heard it's possible to cross them if you don't have anyone to fertilize the eggs. They may be human made, but if ppl just cross dogs what's the difference? I can't force them to cross. If they cross they cross. If they don't they don't.
