Not too sure, its hard to see a gravid spot on her because of her colour, keep an eye on her stomach, im a first time breeder so dnt have much experience but their gestation period isnt long so if she is she should show signs pretty quickly ;-) good luck!

Ok so she is looking very big now and her tummy is swelling out the sides, if her lower body is squared does that mean i will be seeing some fry soon? Also i have been told that fry need a differant type of food??

No none yet but she looks thinner to me 2day, maybe im imagining things lol but as the last fry escaped im worried that she has given birth and they got out.... Wot do u think?

Hi think my new platy could be pregnant, i bought 2 a fortnight ago and one has already given birth but even though she was in a nesting trap they escaped and have only seen one since. The second one looks heavily pregnant and is in the nesting trap but im not sure how far on she is.... Help...
