    Stocking suggestions

    In a 38-gal tank I have: 3 Platys 4 neon tetras 4 red-eye tetras 4 phantom tetras Can I/should I add more? If so, what do you suggest. Thanks! Don't know what I would do without this forum.

    Dying Neons

    I have lost 3 out of 4 in 24 hours. I cannot explain it and don't see any reason at all. Did a PWC on Sat. All of my water values are where there should be: ammonia - 0, nitrite - 0 and nitrate - 0. Thoughts anyone?

    Ph levels

    Just tested and ph tested at 7.6 and high ph tested at 8.8. Do I need to lower it? All other numbers are where they should be. Thanks

    Good Morning, all! I'm planning to purchase one of these. I have a planted 38g tank with tetras and platys so far. Should I get the larger filter? Also, do I need to run the new one and the old one simultaneously for good bacteria purposes? If so, for how long? Thanks everyone!

    Dalmatian Mollies

    I've had 2 Dalmatian Mollies for about 3 weeks. I lost 1 within a week and just lost the other. It appeared to be dropsy or swim bladder in each case. I do PWC's faithfully. Water tests are good-0 ammonia, 0 nitrate and 0 nitrite. Ph around 7.2. Could this be diet related? Are they tough for...

    I've read a number of threads and have a question about Ph levels. I was told by LPS that I should keep it at 7.0. I typically test around 7.2-7.5 following a water change.     Happy New Year! Everyone. I'm new to fish. I have a 38-gallon fresh water tank with live plants and 11 community fish. First round of fish were introduced about 10 days ago, the last 5 added 3days ago. Tank has been operational for 2weeks
