I have a 55 gallon Saltwater tank that's been up over year half now and I would like to get a sump for it or build one. Any suggestions? The two front doors on it are pretty small and whole be he'll to pull out from wall. But know this would be best for my fish. So any input?

I have a 55 gallon tank. The tang I have is super small maybe the size of a quarter. The lil white spot is no longer there. I am aware that my tank is not the recommended size, I am in the process of trying to get a 180 gallon now.

These white spots your talking about is it ick? And what if you don't have another tank to separate them from other fish?

My blue tang has 2 lil white dots on her noise. Is it ick? I tried getting a picture but she just moves too fast. I've only had her maybe a week now. And if is ick, what so I do?

I have a two light bulb fixture. One light is blue and one is white , called ocean sun (I believe) from petco. I couldn't tell u the watts right now that's at home.

So I was over feeding my fatso? What do y'all think of this light? I wanna upgrade so I can have corals.

Was was only feeding one cube brime shrimp and at that time was only 2 fish in there. Now I have 8 and feed a bigger one and every other day.

The lights that I have on my tank is a two light fixture, one light white or other I'd blue. I got them from petco, called ocean something. I've been trying to save up to get better lights.

I've tired 8 hours a day and I started getting brown and green stuff everywhere. Also these clowns have been together about year and a half now and they still do that. :-/

When I did a new tank I was told it needed to be cycled before putting anything in there. I took couple my rocks out of my other tank and sponge from my filter to seed. It did do a small cycle that was very noticeable. Took it a week before I added fish just to be safe. Hope that helps you some. :-)

What lighting schedule do you think is best? My two clowns do not like the moon light at all. The bigger one kinda bullies the smaller one.

I did also just add 3 new fish couple days ago too.

This is what she looks like today. (Normal) No I have not got an anemone just yet. I was told I do not have the proper lighting for one. I got a bubble tip anemone month or so ago and it lasted one night. But come to find out my sg was super super high.

I've had these pair for over year now. I've seen her like this before but went away. And today her tummy isn't as big.

Thank you that helps a bunch. I thought I was maybe over feeding her.

I haven't tried to remove it just yet. There are only 2 fish in there one peppermint shrimp n couple snails.

Is she just fat or what? You can tell she gets food that's or sure.

I was just admiring my tank and noticed these red bubble like things on the rocks. I've never seen this before and I don't have it in my other tank. Trying to figure it all out BC I'm about to take these fish an rocks and put in my 55 gallon tank. Thanks!
