Name the most interesting fish or species you have kept...

I had about 5-6 feeder fish that my turtle would just NOT eat. They stayed in his tank for about 3-4 months. Then one day I came home to find the turtle was a little hungry that night, and he ate them all! That might not be too unusual, but it's the most interesting thing I got. Now, I'd have...

My 20gal finally cycled, 4 new fish

I searched through the pictures on other sites and I think you are right on with every fish! I wondered why they loved my rock with the holes in it so much, I guess I'll try and put a couple more small caves in there. It's a 20gal tank for now, but I've been saving to move my turtle out of his...

My 20gal finally cycled, 4 new fish

I got 4 assorted Cichlids to start it off. I don't know any specific names, but they are all cool looking. None of them wanted to stay still for the camera though, except the bigger spotted one. :::Warning::: LARGE FILE SIZES!!! Blue Fish: http://www.handsdesign.net/Clay/Fish/Fishy1.jpg...

    Stocking 2 new tanks....

Would the dwarf frogs be semi-easy to take care of at work? At home it would be no problem to do along side my turtle, other fish, and snake. But at work, I've got to trek 100+ feet to get to a sink. I do have a small heater for the 5gal, I think it's 10-15 watts.

    Stocking 2 new tanks....

I just got 2 new tank setups(5G and 20G) and I'm wondering what I should fill them with. The 5 gal is going to work and will sit on my desk. I really don't want a betta, but I'd like something around that size to put in there that is easy to take care of(won't be able to feed on the weekends)...

    Design for a 55gal/20gal stand(UPDATE w/pics!!)

It's a little different, but if I want to have the 20gal at a decent height for viewing AND have my Filstar XP3 filter in the same stand, this is the only way it will all fit. The stand is 49" long, 13" deep, and 42" tall. I like asymetrical furniture, so that influenced the design as well. The...
