Hi I have one male (was two) and two female balloon molly in my tank. (with guppy & platty). Other fish have bread bt Molly's hav'nt any ideas folks. I really love my mollies and would love em to breed :-P

Hi got red shrimps yest. Had 10 at last count 2 left ! Need to re think maybe they just too small any others that arnt too expensive easy to get hold of and maybe not as easy to eat ??

Hi from south yorkshire. Only had a tank since december, (water good and test it myself) got neons, guppies & a couple of platties. Friend said it would be a good idea to add a shrimp or two to help clean the tank . . Know nothing of shrimps any advice ???

Thanks, the kribs now gone to the shop, what an 'interesting' morning i had trying to catch the little dudes. Going to have a look saturday for pygmys and guppies

hi thanks for the advice about what sort of fish to buy, have chatted with my daughter and the kribs will be going back to the shop this sat. unfortunately the betta died yesterday, it was fine in the morning bt by the time we got home that night he was upside down with a good bit of tail...

just got home from work to find our betta has gone to the big fish tank in the sky, poor little thing, seemed well this morning, wandering if the krib had anything to do with it, he can be a bully, had already decided to take him and the other krib back on sat, then will only have the tetras left

so what do you have in with him

my betta (snappy snapston) not too bad he puffs out if one particular kribb gets too close ( the cribb is a bit agressive ) bt is fine with the other one. may try the platies as my daughter wants to keep snappy bt also wants something pretty :fish2:

Bit worried bout havin the kribs may have to give back to shop. Think they may be too agressive for what my daughter wants in her tank.

Its a pretty good shop. Wouldnt let me buy untill they were sure of the water. They been goin years and from askin around know they are good. So trust em with water.

Was sold em as black striped dwarf cichlids are they not the same. .

Yes he tested the water and all levels as they should be. As i am new to this and want healthy & happy fish wanted to get it checked by people that know what they are doin. Will try to post pic bt not sure how !
