I have a 37g with a pair of clarki clowns, yellow watchman, cleaner and peppermint shrimp. I also have some soft corals. I looking for a fish with good color and wont hide in the rocks or sand. Any ideas will help. Thanks.

Its not that hard. I was worried too when I started my first sw tank. Ive had fw tanks for 20 yrs and was nervous starting but its not that bad. You just have to do your water changes and maintinence more often and make sure water quality is good. Start with hardy fish that you like.

I have a group of five brown polyps on a rock. Ive noticed tube shaped things growing up from the rock around them. Same looking stem of the polyps but no top. Is this how they look when new ones start. Thank

I had that on my rock too. I added a emerald crab and some hermits and they took care of it. The emerald crab I watched as he ate it. The hermits im not sure if they did but the rock is clean now.

My choc starfish was stuck in ph. It chewed up one of his legs pretty bad but he is alive. Im worried that his injured leg may have some harm on my water quality. Should I take him out. Thanks

I would not keep a pair of clowns in a 10g. Maybe some shrimp and cuc.

I have a 37g. I started with a fluval c4 rated for 75g and a seaclone 100 skimmer. The water flow looked low so i added a old 402 powerhead i had.. Its kicking up alot of sand and bubbles no matter the position. Should i let it run for a day or two? Will the sand finaly settle? Or is it too much...

The shrimp at my lfs are about 1 inch. Is that too small. My clowns are bigger

My seaclone isnt too loud. For the first 12hrs of running I had lots of micro bubbles but when I woke up they were gone. It took about 3 days for it to pull out some nasty green skimmate. For the price it work good for my 37g
