    I have seeded my cannister filter with everything out of my cycled HOB filter. My question is how long do I have to leave it in there? I want to use the HOB on another tank so I will need to take it all out again once it's all established in the cannister.

    Using Lego bricks as bio media?

    Hi guys, just wondering if Lego bricks could be used as a bio media. I have a HOB filter which has enough space for me to add a few pieces of Lego behind the filters bio cartridge. I'm guessing the more surface area for BB to grow should be a good thing. Let me know what you all think
