I only have one male platy ( the others didnt make it out of the quarantine tank) and he is very timid should I get more? That makes sense what you said about some females having sword tails .... I only have two should I have more ?

Good to know I added the male swordtail and a male platy to the female swordtails isolated tank. so would you think that would put either male in a position of dominance ? Perhaps enough to encourage them to mate
