    Caribbean Blue Zoas

I just picked these up from my lfs a couple days ago. I haven't seen Blue Zoas from the Caribbean very often so i figured i would share a couple photos. Ones with daylights on and the other is with actinics.

My tank just reached its first birthday about 2 weeks ago and a lot has changed since the first day i fired up the pumps and started its life. I tried to document as much of its progression as i could and tried to take pics every so often. Here is my tanks first year in a quick group of...

    New Linkia Star

Well i picked up this guy 2 days ago and he seems to be doing ok. (i've heard that the first couple days are the most crucial for these guys because they have trouble transporting and acclimating) He didn't move much till today, just stayed on one rock but traveled from the back to the front to...

Newest Addition (by far the best)

My sand bed is not deep at all, but they seem to improvise and take sand from other parts of the tank and dump it in one area to make a suitable home. I've seen them do fine in tanks without much sand, they adjust. He has actually been spending most of his time in that piece of LR. He has...

Newest Addition (by far the best)

I just got this guy a few days ago. His colors are incredible, every time i look in the tank i say wow. I could sit and watch him for hours. And one of him in his "house"

    What salt and why?

I use Tropic Marin. My tank is extremely stable and i have never had any problems with water chemistry. I've used it since day one because i heard many good things about it when i was getting into the hobby.

    Newest Addition

Chase, if u r worried about the dusters than this fish is not for u. It knocked off every single duster in my tank in about 2 days. And i had tons of tiny ones growing all over. I even had to take my big fancy duster out and put it in my nano because every time it opened he attacked it. I...

    Sad Day(Updated Pix)

idk, i refuse to buy fish online because i like to c the fish in person before i buy. my lfs will sell fish out of state and ship them overnight and i dont think its as much as that website either. They have a 3-4" sargassum right now if u want the info pm me.

    Newest Addition

I picked this guy up a few days ago. He was eating in the store so i decided that he was good to come home(since if they aren't eating its hard to get them to start.) He's been constantly picking at the live rock and eating all the tiny feather dusters. It also loves frozen blood worms and...

aqua medic, does anyone know this brand ?

They make good skimmers, never seen their lights before. But as Hara said, can't go wrong with German equipment in this hobby.

    Sad Day(Updated Pix)

My lfs charges 200$ for them anywhere from 3-5 inches. Bigger than that is usually a little more expensive and u rarely if ever c them smaller, like this guy, but they had him listed for 200$ also because it is rare to c them this small.

    Sad Day(Updated Pix)

Here's the pix. I know this isnt the forum for pix but i figured since this was the thread i started about the fish that it would be ok to put them here. These r the best shots i got of him. You can see how small he is in the pix with the Koralia PH behind him and the one with the MagFloat and...

    Mixing Angels

At one point i had 3 angels in a tank (Queen, Maculosus, and Poma) with very little aggression. After a while the Maculosus got out of control, but not just with the other angels with every fish in the tank. He just took over the tank and harassed everyone. If they r small you can get away...
