no its underneath the tank sitting flat. Once its running there is no leaks but its when power goes off to it or right at the beginning of it starting up. It leaks out right where the top disconnects from the bottom.

I have a Eheim professional pro 2 and lately when i shut the power off to do a water change it is leaking out the back. Has anyone had this problem? Could it be a bad seal? if so where can you find replacement seals online? any help would be appreciated!

I have a puffer that was good when he was younger but as he aged so did his appetite for hermit crabs. Also i had a sand starfish that was mysteriously hanging out of puffers mouth one evening. So they do have a big appetite and good luck!
