They are on the glass when I see them at night. They look somewhat like a conch to me. At the thick end of the shell they have a ring of pointy teeth like structures on the shell.

I seem to have had a sudden outburst of these little guys. The are a snail of some sort but not sure which one and if they are good or bad. Any advice?

My juvenile maculosus angelfish has what appears to be a fungus growing on its right pectoral fin. It is only on the end of the fun and is white in color and looks a sort of fuzzy. Am I correct in assuming that this is a fungus? Also I have a cleaner shrimp in the tank with him but am wondering...

Yes it's aptasia. It is a nuisance in the aquarium and will take over. It can sting your tanks inhabitants causing damage and is IMO unsightly. Agreed. They are amazing creatures and would be an awesome in a species only tank. Careful though the force behind their Strike is the same as the force behind a .22 caliber bullet when it's shot. They can lay your finger open big time.
