    What are these??

They are on the glass when I see them at night. They look somewhat like a conch to me. At the thick end of the shell they have a ring of pointy teeth like structures on the shell.

    Fungus??

This I am aware of he will be upgraded to a 180g when he gets a little larger. The fish is approximately an inch and a half long at the moment and is in the biocube as a quarantine. Water changes are done weekly and he eats like a pig (nori, mysis, plankton, vitamin enriched brine, and pellets)...

My juvenile maculosus angelfish has what appears to be a fungus growing on its right pectoral fin. It is only on the end of the fun and is white in color and looks a sort of fuzzy. Am I correct in assuming that this is a fungus? Also I have a cleaner shrimp in the tank with him but am wondering...

    Whats this on my fish?

There is actually a parasitic isopod that harbors itself in the mouths of fish. It feeds off the blood normally supplied to the fishes tongue which causes the tongue to die and fall off. The isopod then latches itself into the muscles of the fish's former tongue. The isopod will continue to feed...

    Help identify, pls.

Yes it's aptasia. It is a nuisance in the aquarium and will take over. It can sting your tanks inhabitants causing damage and is IMO unsightly. To get rid of them you could purchase one of the commercially available control products, or you can use a hypodermic needle and syringe to inject lemon...

    Strange creature among algae

Agreed. They are amazing creatures and would be an awesome in a species only tank. Careful though the force behind their Strike is the same as the force behind a .22 caliber bullet when it's shot. They can lay your finger open big time.

    Help! Please identify this.

No good cleanup crew and if you get a large enough population a harlequin shrimp would be an awesome addition
