I have a 48" Coralight double linear fixture (4-65w bulbs). I am down to using 3 bulbs because the "connector" where the pins from the bulb plug in is busted. Anyone know what this part is and/or if I can just replace that one part? Or do I have to get one of those light "kits"? I tried...

Thank you so much. This is obviously the first time I have had a "sick" tank. And yes, I thought I might as well have a tank, no matter what. So, I will go with your suggestion and do water changes and see if that helps. Poor thing was really flashing this afternoon.

As for additions to the tank to get rid of the algae, I continuously add hermit crabs. . .i think I have added about 40, and I think there are still about 10-15 (they are good hiders). What about nudibrach or cucumbers? I know I can't add any other crabs. . .they will be eaten tried a light...

Have you tried chemi-pure or anything like that? I use this resin because my fish slection keep me from having a real cleaning crew.
