nitrates? huh? So "they'll only grow as big as the tank will let them" isn't a truism for healthy goldies, eh? Vacuuming probably doesn't get half the waste due to the large stones (1/2" - 4") and large crevices. I like the more natural look than the gravel, but is that doable? I have activated...- islandfish
