I bought three Anthias (or Wreck Fish as they are commonly known as over here), two of them are doing what looks like kissing aggressively? I wonder if they are fighting cos I know they have hooks in their mouths? Are they vying for dominance?

I have a pair of these little scamps but am unsure as to what to feed them? I know that they are not starving as they keep shedding their exoskeleton but whatever I feed them goes uneaten... just tried cockles and they just played with them! Any ideas?

I have a long bubble strip in my FO. It does look pretty with my blue moonlight but regardless of how far down in the sandbed u put it - it always manages to find its way up pretty soon! Also my Boxer Shrimps tend to try and eat the bubbles which I'm sure isn't too healthy! :P

I have a FOWLR, a FO and a FW. I don't really think you spend much more time looking after two or three than you do one. But I do tend to go in phases where I'll spend more time and money on one and less attention on the others. I guess over time they all get attention, but thats just the way i am!

That sounds like what I have too. Cindy, when I cleaned my filter, it was blocked with all these little creatures, I think a lot of them had died as the water was disgusting.. but like you said, there were certainly a lot still alive in there! :twisted:

These things are tiny.. you really wouldn't notice if there was only two! The sand in my tank is not live sand and I don't keep corals... the only thing it can be is the sponge!

Phew! Im glad they're not harmful! Most have been sucked up by my Fluval.. as it was rather blocked up with them when I cleaned it last. However I don't have any live rock. Its simply a fish only tank.. how would they have got in? The tank has been set up for a good 6 months...?
