you dont need meds for ich, just very slowly raise the temp to around 30 degrees and do daily water changes and it should go with in a week but i would keep the temp up for about 2 weeks

Sorry no :s but have now :) yeah use the concrete to cover it then remove the poly as I have been told it rots after a while and its going in a tank that's already set up so can't silicone it in

Yeah it's just if there is fertiliser in them and stuff but boil and soak can work at ya own risk or maybe get some online :)
