i bought a puffer yesterday that will only grow to 3.5 inches. at this size my crabs, snails, and other inverts are very safe. i have 2 clowns and they get along with the puffer great. The puffer thinks he is a clown and swims around the tank with the clowns, it is funny to watch

looking at adding a Kole Yellow Eye Tang to my 75 gallon tank, and was wondering if it would be a good addition. Also any tips on caring for one would be great. Any advice or personal experiences you wish to share with me would be great. thanks

did you mean fiji? I would talk to zac at lr.com and ask for 1-3 larger pices around 6 pounds each. that should give you lots of coraline alge to seed your FIJI rock. Are you sure that it is not base rock?

i think the stocking that fishfirst suggestedis a bit redictouls. I dont mind a little over stocking as long as the fish,coral,shrimp,ect... are healthy. I would much rather see 50 healthy tangs in a 50 gallon tank than 4 sick ones in a 400 gallon tank. Making special orders is the #2 thing...

Watch out for mantis shrimp on the gulf rocks. Other than them I am very happy with the #30 gulf rock I ordered. I got a lot of snails, cup corals and other corals I cant rember the names of. I will probly be ordering #10 of keys to add color to my gulf rock. I would suggest #10 gulf and #10...

I wish i would have bought a sump when i started up. I wasted a lot of money because i bought a HOB skimmer and power filter instead of a sump with a built in skimmer. I am going to switch to a sump as soon as i can. HTH :)
