    125 FOWLR take 2

Idk about performance and how that would work out. Have you tried cleaning out the intakes and pumps/impellers? Usually when mine starts to act up I clean everything out and it works perfect again.

    125 FOWLR take 2

I have a bubble Magus 77 and it took a few weeks for it to be dialed in, I have to make a raised platform for it, but it works great now. I looked at their website to see how high they recommend it being in the water column. Prob clean out the entire cup ever 4-5 days.

    Back in the tank game....

There's pics on the last page back. With a 20L you could easily split it up a bit and put at least a small chamber and a bubble trap for your pump.

    Back in the tank game....

Yeah I would def add at least a bubble trap on the end to catch them micros. Also in the future it's easier for an ATO

    Any refugium gurus out there?

Nice! Yeah I love the design and just elongated it to a 6 foot 90 gallon. Works great! I like how you have the sock holders built in, very nice.

    Red Sea N03-P04 X

I does no3po4-x, great stuff. I have been slowly weening my system off the stuff and it's been holding up. We moved and had to transfer everything and this caused sand to stir and brought on the standard algae bloom. I'm down to around 3 ml once a week halfway between my water changes and it...

    Any refugium gurus out there?

I stole my sump/Fuge idea from New York steelo on YouTube (just the sump, don't really care for his other ideas*) but it works very well. Here's a pic and so on. I have made some more changes recently, a real ATO and a bio pellet reactor, but the baffles and bubble traps work perfect.

    Back in the tank game....

Maybe look into a very deep sand bed to make up with space for bb. I know courser sand will hold more surface area to help. I'm just going off of what I know works. I have several friends who have 2.5-3 times rock poundage to total water volume and their tanks thrive with very heavy bioloads...

    Back in the tank game....

Yeah idk your space and everything but I would try to get at least 1 - 1.5 pounds per gallon total water volume. It's very good for beneficial bacteria as that is what it mostly grows on.

    Back in the tank game....

I like the look of an island but IMO it depends on your stock list. Tangs and wrasse need rock and caves to hide in, the more the better. I have around 150 pounds in my 135 Dt and another 40-50 pounds in my Fuge/rock rubble pile. If you can't or don't want to put it in the display you could make...

    Power outage

Some of these larger tanks may not get that long of a charge because of the pull, but I'm curious if you were to maybe stack them...

    Back in the tank game....

Dang that's a good price! Did you test it! Do the reactors work like that? I'm curious about your design.
