You've hit the nail on the head, you can't just shop blindly under the impression that Maidenhead are good, and p@h are pants, it's the people that make it and people are indeed different. Use your head, ask questions and spend time looking at the fish you want. Make your decision based on your...

Yeah, they have a good selection, but just tend to lack enthusiasm and tank checks, Ripples are the best for me, Bridgemere, got my tank from there and the fish are spot on. Just a 45 minute drive from my house. I went into a shop in stoke-on-trent today, and I was shocked, fish dead in many...

My local PAH Stafford, has well kept tanks, staff ask questions when you are purchasing fish, never seen a dead fish, has poor labels as per, my local Maidenhead Aquatics, good selection of fish, often dead fish, staff don't ask questions. I put the lemons in at the beginning, but I'm struggling to get the lemons to eat, and they don't come to the top for food I feed a mixture of flake, sinking pellets, dried daphnia but if I don't feed the fish for a day(been away a few...

    Black light

I just use blue LED's they are timed to come on about 20mins before the main lights go off and stay on 20 mins after they come back on in the morning. Gives a nice look.

    New In wall tank build.

It's safer with two heaters, if one fails the other can stop major drops, I've got two 300 watts, in a high flow area, in my 76gallons. The power usage is the same really, as they are on for shorter times.

Fish In or Out During PWC?

I pour mine into a vegetable strainer, it diffuses the water, it is a plastic one and floats on the water in the tank.

    Help! Fish dying!

I had a Molly that bullied my other fish, it is because they need more Mollys with them, I put a male and two female with her and she was fine, left my other fish alone. Dave
