I have just one blood red parrot right now, and plan on buying a larger tank to accommodate for its growing size. I plan on buying a 55 gallon, but want a little variety in the tank. Are there any suggestions for some cichlids that are bright and colorful, but will get along with my blood parrot??

I currently have a 35 gallon tank, and the only other tank mate is a snail. I'm getting a bigger tank very soon though, probably about 55 gallons.

Hi, I'm currently looking into buying cichlids that are beautiful, but not high maintenance or too expensive. Right now I have a blood red cichlid that's about 4 inches long, so if there's any fish that aren't too aggressive that you know of, please let me know!

It may be that you are you putting too much food in the aquarium, which is decomposing and causing the smell. This happened to me, and all I had to do was not put so much food in the tank at one time. Now my tank doesn't small bad at all!
