I don't think this guy is making lights in his garage... Lol. I checked his stats and he is @ 99% positive with over 6k sales. Just wondering if anyone here has used these lights.

I'm a newbie at saltwater and I'm doing research to start up my tank. Can you mix regular sand with live sand? If so what's the best method?

Do you think I can get away with doing my water mix in the tank & letting it mix for 24 hrs then adding sand & rock after the saline level & temp is right? I'd like to save the $30 it will cost to buy a huge garbage can to put that $ towards something else if I can.

That might need to be my solution for the time being. Do you do your salt mix and heat your water in a clean garbage can? How does that work?

Hi all... So I've had a freshwater tank for a couple of years. I received the aqueon 36 gallon bowfront package setup. It came with the hood, heater, 18 watt lamp, filtration system and tank. I want to build this as a reef tank. I know its on the small side but really I don't have the room...

I just got the same tank but have not started yet. What are you using for lighting? The light fixture that came with the set up is not enough for a reef tank. I want to go with a t5 light but I'm not sure what fixtures would work if I want to grow corals etc. What did you go with?
