    Help on angelfish please!!

One of angelfish seems to have something coming out of its vent (i think it's called). It looks kind of like hair, I think it is from some of the live plants in the tank that it may have swallowed and has got stuck as it has tried to pass it. This is the only thing I can think that it may be...

Male guppy wont leave female molly alone!!

No I didn't know that! Haha he just follows her all the time by her side etc etc. just nagging her! The poor thing! She's fully grown though and he's tiny in comparison so it just looks funny, I guess he just doesn't want any other girl lol :)

Male guppy wont leave female molly alone!!

I Read online that the guppy might be confused as to what type of fish the female is so i some bought two female guppies and he still won't leave the Molly alone, he doesn't even go near the female guppies, at all... Is there any way I can sort this out apart from separating them? thanksn

    ID on loach

I just asked my mum whether she remembered and she seemed to think it was something to do with 'gold banded' so I looked that up and found a royal gold banded loach, which looks very alike and a lot of info on it seems the same as the info the guy at the shop gave me so maybe Thats the identity? :)

    ID on loach

Humm they do resemble both, kinda look like golden zebra loaches too, the guy at the shop said they'd grow up to about 5" and as they didn't have a label on the tank he went and checked what they were and told me, I just wish I could remember, I'm sure the words 'gold ring' were in the name but...

    Bolivian ram

How do you sex them? I've looked into it before but didn't really get far with it... They don't seem all that feisty at all and I think there both probably the same sex a they are pretty similar, looks and behaviour wise

    Bolivian ram

Mine do the same, they chase each other but don't really go near the other fish, but that what makes them so interesting to watch, I've said before but I'm sure they must just sit and stare each other out sometimes and then swim off. I'm going to have to get some sinking pellets, I've just been...

    Bolivian ram

I'm glad I got mine too, I don't think I ever took notice of them when I went to the pet shop but I'm glad my mum took notice haha, since getting them I've looked in a few different aquatic stores and mine seem to the same colour if not more colour so I think there a little more settled now :)

    Bolivian ram

I have 1 Dalmatian Molly with 2 fry (but in breeding net) 6 neon tetras, and 3 guppies, they all mind their own business and don't really 'hang around' in the same areas but the first ram is a lot more active since getting the second

    Bolivian ram

I'm not sure what sex they are they are still only small (I don't know whether that makes a difference haha) but I think they are probably the same sex as they aren't that different to each other in shape size etc but I find them so interesting especially when they go around the tank together...

    Bolivian ram

Thank you so much! That's the kind of stuff I wanted to hear, my mum brought me one just because she saw them and thought they were beautiful but he was very shy and had almost no colour to him at all (my mum chose him because she thought his colours where really nice in the shop) so I left him...
