Been checking my 38 Gal aquarium regularly and for the past few days I get ZERO for all--Ammonia, Nitrites AND Nitrates.. How can that be?? you would think the Nitrates have to be going up, no?? (API Master Kit). Thanks

My 29 gal tank is almost done with a fish less cycle. Planning on doing a semi-aggressive tank. Any suggestions as to good tank mates that won't kill each other. Kinda like the look of Tiger Barbs. Thanks!

PH etc.. My PH is about 7.5. When i first dosed the ammo it was about 4ppm (possibly even a bit higher). I have the temp turned up to about 84-85 degrees and my air stone on full force as well.

In the Tank there are dalmation mollies, platys, tetra, guppies, clown loach and a hammers blue lobster. They all seem to get along with rare "incidences" between the loaches and the lobster.

Added 2 Plecos to my 38 gal tank about 2 weeks ago and have never seen them again. I know they didn't jump out because the tank was moved within those 2 weeks and nothing is behind the tank.. ?

I am doing a fishless cycle in a 29 gal tank- I got my Ammonia up to around 4ppm and just today the nitrIte has shown up (currently at 1ppm). Since the ammo is still up should I add more?? or just let it drop lower and then add? Thanks!

I started an aquarium (freshwater) about 5 weeks ago. After approximately 2 weeks I decided to change my Aqueon filter for an AquaClear filter. I stupidly just took out the old one and put in the new. NOT GOOD. Any bacteria that was in the old was removed with the filter. Of course the Ammonia...

Man I wish i had seen this BEFORE i made the mistake of putting in a new filter and discarding the old media-- it was a mess for quite a while and actually still isn't exactly right. Not to mention the ammonia problem-- :(:(:(:(:(
