Sorry. I meant alk for the tank. I didn't test the ro. Ultimately, I only want to know why the PH of my RO water is so high and what are the potential contributing factors.

It's not just on sand. It's on rocks, on corals, pumps, filters. It's all over in small quantities. I feel like I have an opportunity to be aggressive now and wipe it out before it takes hold.
